I’m going to keep this short and simple. This mistake I made was utterly defeating and sickening. At this point in time, this is the biggest mistake I’ve made in my futures prop firm trading journey. Very discouraging and one of those situations where I really don’t want to share it publicly; however, I hope it can help at least one of you learn from my disgusting mistake. It is what it is at this moment in time. I need to keep grinding and hustling. Please, I beg of you, don’t allow yourself to do something as dumb as what you’ll see here.

The moment in trading where you get an initial move in your favor is a great thing! With that said, this does not mean you are going to necessarily make money. What do I mean? Depending on your day trading management strategy, you still may need more above and beyond the initial “move” in order to make the trade “worth the risk”. As you’ll see, within the context of the strategy and trade plan I’m using, I needed more than just an initial move. The price did indeed break through a key area, but did it “flush”? Did it give me enough movement to produce the desirable winning trade? Let’s see what happens!

Was this the best trading on my part? As I honestly reflect back on it... nope! On the same note, this is why I often times like to give myself plenty of flexibility in the trade. I was able to twist and turn my way into an amazing result, but I won't pretend like it was the most disciplined trade I ever have taken. The backdrop of this is the fact I'm am using a prop firm account. One of the beautiful aspects is how it allows you to get more aggressive without having a huge amount at risk. All of that is a bit beyond the scope of this video; however, it does give a bit of context into why I was willing to get so aggressive. Let me show you how it all played out!
